White Sauce (Alfredo) Pasta
This simple recipe for alfredo can easily be adapted to your needs and ingredients

Main Ingredients
- 1 package Pasta Noodles Linguine or Penne are ideal, but use what you have
- 1 lb Meat Chicken, Shrimp, or Ham are ideal.
- 1/2 lb Mushrooms Optional
- 1 jar Store bought white sauce
- 2 tbsp Parmesan Cheese
- 2 cups Frozen diced mixed vegetables I prefer Peas & Carrots, but use what you have
Spices
- 1 tbsp Garlic Powder
- 1 tbsp Onion Powder
- 1 tsp Salt Skip if cooking with Ham
- 1 tsp Pepper
Instructions
- Boil a pot of water. Cook the noodles per the instructions on the package.
- Defrost frozen vegetables in the microwave.
- Dice the meat into 1 inch chunks of not already small (such as when using shrimp)
- Pan fry the meat/mushrooms with the spices until mostly cooked.
- Add jar of white sauce and defrosted vegetables to the meat.
- Cover, reduce to low heat, simmer for 10-15 minutes.
- Add parmesan to taste. Serve.
Notes
- If fresh onions are preferred over onion powder, dice 1 large onion and cook with meat/mushrooms.
- Spices listed are suggestions, adjust spices to taste.
- Leftover sauce can be frozen and reheated in the microwave for easy meals in the future. I prefer half cup portions for individual meals, but do what works for you.
